Anything But Plein : Outdoor art event followed by showcase @ Syz

Have you ever seen or heard of En Plein Art Festivals and thought "I wish I could do that, too bad I don't paint"? Well, wish no more! Syzygy is hosting its first "Anything But Plein" event to give artists of other mediums a chance to experience the joy of plein air art. Music, cake decorating, sewing, poetry; any art you can do in 4 hours is welcome! Show up at Dolores Park (east side, just south of center) at 1pm, sign in with the volunteer and tell them what medium you will be using for the event. Get setup and get started creating! You will have 4 hours to create art inspired by the location. Submit your work of art by 5pm and go take a much needed break. At 7pm we will reconvene at Syzygy (395 South Van Ness) for a showcase of the created art!
